Kanawha Youth Football and Cheerleading Association

Kanawha Youth Football and Cheerleading Association Established in 1987, We are the premiere Football and Cheering Association in the West End.

The Kanawha Youth Football and Cheerleading Association is a member of the Metropolitan Youth Football League (Metro). Football Players and Cheerleaders will be placed on a team based on their age on July 31st of the current year.

Practice Schedule: Girls will be practicing both before and after their scheduled photo time, so please come ready to move!

❤️🖤 WHAT A NIGHT FOR OUR REDHAWKS! 🖤❤️

After an amazing first day of games, our RedHawks had an incredible opportunity to take the field at the University of Richmond for Youth Night! 🏈

From cheering on and high-fiving the players in the tunnel, to taking the field at halftime for their very own 2-hand touch flag football game, our athletes had a night they won’t soon forget!

It was also so special for our players to see some of our very own Kanawha alumni, Butter Stephenson and Jack Callahan, continuing their football journey on the college field. ❤️

Football teaches our kids so many lessons on the field, but the lessons and memories they make off the field are just as important. The friendships, bonds, confidence, and connection to our community are what they will carry with them forever. That’s what Kanawha is all about — building athletes, building character, and building family.

A HUGE thank you to our very own Ms. Tula for organizing this amazing opportunity and making sure our kids could experience a college game right here in our hometown! ❤️

Thank you to our coaches for coming out after a long day at the field and giving our athletes such an amazing experience on the college field. We appreciate you more than you know! 👏🏽🏈

And to our parents — THANK YOU for always showing up and showing out! Thank you for bringing your kids, supporting them, and showing them what the true Kanawha family is all about!

Last night was about more than football. It was about community, memories, friendships, and family. ❤️🖤
