If you're new to Tuckahoe, you've probably seen "Team Tuckahoe Fund" mentioned and maybe wondered what it actually is. We're here to explain. 💚
Team Tuckahoe Fund is the TES PTA's main fundraiser each year. No events, no selling things — just families making a direct gift to support the school community they're part of.
Here's what it funds:
🍎 A $200 classroom stipend for every teacher to spend on whatever their students need most — books, supplies, flexible seating, materials for experiments
🔬 SEATS enrichment programs — the author visits, Young Scientists lessons, planetarium trips, and theatrical performances your kids come home talking about
💚 The Angel Fund — which quietly helps make sure every student can participate in field trips, Book Fair, and school activities regardless of circumstances
🎭 The first and fifth grade musicals and Veterans Day Assembly
☕ Teacher Appreciation — because our teachers are the best in the county and we want them to feel it
