ELAYNE BALIFF FUNERAL INFORMATION:

We regret to inform you of the passing of Elayne Baliff on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.

Elayne died of complications following pulmonary illnesses. She is survived by her twin children, her daughter, Elizabeth Baliff (David Bally) of Brooklyn, New York and their daughter Emma; her son, Jonathan (Barbara) Baliff of Houston, Texas and their children Noah, Sam, and Eve; her brother, Ira (Frances) Marks of Highland Park, New Jersey and son, Brendan, and oldest son, Thomas Marks and wife Sloane of Richmond, Virginia.

A graveside service will be held at Hebrew Cemetery (4th St. & Hospital St.) on Tues. April 2, 2024 at 11:00am. The family will be receiving Shiva visitors in Richmond on April 2, 2024 at The Jefferson Hotel (101 West Franklin St.), in Room 631 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm. All are welcome to attend the funeral and shiva gathering.

In lieu of flowers or memorial donations, Elayne's family requests that donations be made to her favorite cause, Childhood and Adult Literacy: The Children’s Literacy Initiative (cli.org); The Virginia Literacy Foundation (virginialiteracy.org); or the Barbara Bush Literacy Foundation (bushhoustonliteracy.org).
