Maude Trevvett PTA

Good afternoon!

I am pleased to share that Maude Trevvett Elementary School has been selected to receive the 2016 Virginia Index of Performance (VIP) Board of Education Distinguished Achievement Award. A school receives the award for being fully accredited, for not being required to write a plan for improvement, and for making significant progress toward educational goals established by the Board of Education and the governor.

As stated by the Superintendent of Public Instruction, Steven R. Staples, "This award recognizes schools who are on the front line of the commonwealth's effort to close achievement gaps."

We are VERY proud of our students, parents, and staff! Please join me in celebrating this great accomplishment!

Teacher Appreciation Week begins on Monday, May 2nd and we would love for our teachers to win the ‘Stock the Fridge’ contest being given by Tutor Doctor of Short Pump/Glen Allen. The two schools with the most likes, votes, and shares will have their teacher’s lounge fridge stocked next week.

5th Grade "INVENTION CONVENTION "

Trunk or Treat was a success !! Thanks to everyone who helped .

Trunk or Treat is scheduled for 10/30 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be food trucks, DJ and a dance area. How can you help? Please send in 1 bag of candy with your child before 10/28.

Attention Kindergarten and First Grade parents. Please join us for our Literacy Night on October 20th. A fun filled evening of reading activities, free books and a free meal with a drink and dessert. Several spots are still available. If you haven't received your registration form, please contact your child's teacher.

Chipotle Spirit night scheduled for 9/29 has been rescheduled to late January/early February. Thank you for supporting the PTA!
