Tonight the Food Pantry served 77 families representing 300 individuals. Thanks to our friends from All Saints RVA for a seamless distribution.
Several of our shelves are bare. We need your help to continue to serve those in need in our community. Here are our greatest needs:
Shelf stable milk

Canned chicken
Mashed potatoes
Canned green vegetables
Applesauce and fruit cups

Snacks – individual packets of raisins or trail mix or nuts; fruit snacks; granola bars; individual bags of popcorn, or pretzels or goldfish; pop tarts, etc.
We currently do not need individual packets of oatmeal or pet food.
Just a reminder, please do not place bread in the bin in the breezeway. We are not here to feed the squirrels. 🐿️

FYI
Free breakfast and lunch will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for anyone 18 or younger at 29 Henrico sites this summer. Meals will be available at sites on varying dates Monday through Thursday in June and July. Parents and guardians are not eligible to receive meals.

These Wednesday volunteers who stock our shelves desperately need more to do. They need your donations to keep them busy and out of trouble.

Tonight the Food Pantry served 69 families representing 274 individuals. Thank you The Gayton Kirk (PCUSA) and friends for coming out in the heat to serve our neighbors in need.

Our inventory is again very low. When we share photos of empty shelves, please consider that we generally need 100 to 120 adult bags a week.
