Congrats to the Godwin Jazz Ensemble on their Unanimous Superior Rating at yesterday’s Jazz Assessment!

The Godwin Band Program is a Commonwealth of Virginia Honor Band for the 25-26 school year! This marks the 15th time in the school’s history that the band has earned this distinction! Way to go Eagles! 🦅🎶

Next week is concert week! Come out and hear the Godwin Bands and Orchestra on Tuesday at 7pm and the Jazz Ensemble on Thursday at 7pm. We hope to see you there next week!

Come out and hear the bands! Tomorrow night is our Pre-Assessment Concert which will feature the Concert Band and Wind Ensemble (see program below). Concert starts at 7pm.

Then, come out on Tuesday, March 3rd to hear the Godwin Wind Ensemble AND the VCU Symphonic Wind Ensemble here at Godwin at 7pm.

Finally, you can come out to Atlee HS on Friday, March 13th to hear the Concert Band and Wind Ensemble perform their Assessment performances. Concert Band at 5:15pm and Wind Ensemble at 8:30pm.

Tonight: Band and Orchestra at 7pm

Tomorrow: Jazz Ensemble at 7pm

And with a long march on a cold day, the 2025 season comes to an end. Grateful to join and represent as one marching band. We’ll miss our seniors. We’ll miss . What a season — and what a band.
