Look who kicked off our Spirit Rock tradition! 🎉

Today was a BIG first for both of our schools!

Carrington’s family was the first to reserve and paint the Mehfoud Spirit Rock, celebrating her start to the new school year with lots of Panda Pride and popsicles! 🐼 💚🖤 A big thank you to her family for helping us kick off this new tradition!

Over at Varina, Dwayne put his artistic talents to work and gave our Spirit Rock the ultimate Hawk thumbs up! 🦅👍💙 We really appreciate him volunteering his time to help us out!

We’re so excited to officially have both Spirit Rocks painted for our school community to enjoy!

The rocks are available for Mehfoud and Varina families to reserve for birthdays, good luck wishes, celebrations, and more! 🎨

🎨 Calling all creatives! 🪨

We need your help! We’re looking for volunteers to paint our new Spirit Rocks at Varina Elementary, Mehfoud Elementary, or both!

Whether you’re an art student looking for volunteer hours (we’re happy to sign your service forms!), a professional artist, hobby artist, or simply someone who enjoys being creative, we’d love to hear from you.
