The past two week 4 year old classes wrapped up the final letter of the alphabet — ⭐️ Letter M ⭐️ … all 26 letters complete!!! 🎉📚✏️ What an exciting milestone for our students! 👏🏼

We learned all about:

💖 Mommies & Babies – Our Petting Zoo visited the school and brought lots of adorable adult and baby animals for the students to meet and learn about! 🐐🐰🐥🐑
☔️A Walk in The Rain - Listening Activity
👾 Silly/Funny MoNsTeRs
🌮 Cinco de Mayo
🐒 We counted bananas for the monkeys! 🙊🍌
🚔Henrico County Police Department came to visit Notth Run!
📚 Books we read this week:

🎶 In music, we sang “Do You Know the Muffin Man?” and played maracas in class! 🪇🎼🎵

👾 Completed monster following-direction activities
🔢 Practiced writing shapes and finding numbers to “dot”
🦋 Painted our “pretty butterflies” for the graduation program using paint symmetry
🍕 Enjoyed our End-of-the-Year Pizza Picnic together!
🌱 Completed a spring planting sequencing activity after watching our real seeds sprout and grow into plants

Letter O for ocean week for the 4’s:

📖Read lots of ocean books like “Over in the Ocean” - Students learned all about hermit crabs, octopus’, seahorses & more.🐚🐙🌊🦀🦈🪸🦑
🔎Classes observed sea shells together🐚
🦀 Students had a blast moving like sea animals in class—crab walking, swimming like fish, and singing Baby Shark while pretending to be sharks! 🦈🐟
🐚 Sandy Hermit Crab Craft- Classmates glued sand on their hermit crab’s shell.

📖Bible story was all about Zacchaeus. We painted a tree for him to climb up and then we made a string to pull him up!!! So fun! We sang all about Zacchaeus too!!
📖 Read “Put Me in the Zoo” by Robert Lopshire and made our own yellow polka-dotted dog like from the book.
