Art at French classes for Fall 2026 are up! Be sure to check them out and sign up to get your spot today!

Art at French offers a variety of community education courses, including jewelry making!

Beginner Jewelry: Introduction to Metalsmithing 1 and 2:

Learn the fundamental techniques of jewelry making through guided demonstration and hands-on studio practice. In Jewelry I, beginners will gain experience working with sheet metal and develop core skills including sawing, filing, soldering, polishing, and bezel-setting a gemstone.

Jewelry II builds on this foundation, offering returning students opportunities to refine their techniques, explore more advanced processes, and begin developing personal design ideas. Previous jewelry and soldering experience is necessary.

Students must have completed Jewelry 1 before entering Jewelry II or have prior experience.
