Read an Accurate Ag in the Classroom Book Week!

Our Ag Leadership Class and Officer Team had a great time visiting Mrs. Humphries’s 2nd grade class for Read an Accurate Ag in the Classroom Book Week!

Hennessey FFA students read an Accurate Ag book with the 2nd graders, played an Agricultural Terminology game, showed off their awesome work boots , and spent time coloring and creating boots with the 2nd grade students!

Agriculture Beyond the Classroom

Hennessey FFA members Cam Dowell and Mason McGee represented the Hennessey FFA Chapter at Farm Bureau Capitol Camp this week. During the experience, they gained firsthand insight into the legislative process, including how to effectively draft a bill and understand the steps involved as legislation moves through the process.

In addition to their legislative experience, Cam and Mason participated in community service at the Regional Food Bank in OKC, giving back to the community while developing valuable leadership and civic engagement skills.

We are proud of Cam and Mason for representing Hennessey FFA and demonstrating the importance of agriculture education extending far beyond the classroom.

Seaboard FoodsCommunity Enrichment Advisory Council and CoBank Sharing Success Program Award Grants to Hennessey FFA.

We are thrilled to announce that the Hennessey FFA Chapter has received generous grant contributions through the Seaboard Foods Community Enrichment Advisory Council and CoBank’s Sharing Success Program.

These funds have been used to purchase much-needed curriculum materials, and make improvements to the classroom and shop laboratory. Thanks to the generosity and support of these organizations, Hennessey FFA students will benefit from enhanced educational opportunities and resources as part of the Hennessey FFA Agricultural Education Program.

We are incredibly grateful for their investment in our students and their commitment to supporting agricultural education and the future of agriculture.
