Mrs. Crague, a MHMS alumna and parent, spoke with our Intro to Entrepreneurship students about her career as a supply chain manager. She encouraged students to remain curious and fail forward. She encouraged students to stay eager and humble as no task or job is beneath them. She mentioned using AI as a tool at work, but everyone’s brain is their biggest tool! Thank you for sharing your career and wisdom with us, Mrs. Crague!

We are so proud of Jaylin, one of our amazing CTE students, and Peyton! They are leaders on and off the field!

“The person is worth more than the athlete.” That was one of the powerful messages tonight delivered by founder and president of the MHMS Hidden Opponent chapter alongside co-president Peyton Evans. THO is dedicated to bringing athlete mental health awareness into the conversation and tackling the stigma. Athletics is a place for growth, not perfection; for fun, not anxiety. MHMS is honored to share tonight with JPII as our community comes together to stand up for mental health in our young people.

Mrs. Baldwin, a MHMS parent, spoke with Mrs. Morgan’s social media class and Mrs. Woodall’s retail operations class about her background in graphic design, marketing, and social media. She stressed the importance of editing and revising one’s work as the initial product is never perfect. She emphasized how vital it is to collaborate with colleagues and how they can improve one’s idea. Mrs. Baldwin also designs many of our Hawk Shop products!

Today, high school students got a chance to lunch and learn with an admissions counselor from the University of Chicago. All students participate in their liberal arts core curriculum, which focuses on civil discourse, similar to our very own seminars. He encouraged students to participate in extracurriculars they are passionate about and to be authentic in their essays. The University of Chicago provides free tuition to families who make under $250k and have typical assets. We want to thank the University of Chicago for visiting our students!

High school students got a chance to lunch and learn with an admissions counselor from Columbia University. The admissions counselor explained their liberal arts core curriculum. He encouraged students to challenge themselves and take the most rigorous classes. Columbia takes a need-based approach to financial aid and has a need-blind admissions process. Families making under $150k receive free tuition. We want to thank Columbia University for visiting with our students!
