🐾 What a WEEK! From setting up classrooms to prepping schedules, training staff, and getting every last detail ready — our team poured their hearts into making sure this school year started strong. And it showed! 🎉

Three days in and the energy has been unmatched — smiling faces, eager learners, and a school community that’s ready to take on the 2026-27 school year together. 📚✨

Our current students organized a Beach Bash last Thursday to welcome our future 6th grade Bearcats and their families. Future Bearcats played games, won prizes, and learned about extracurricular clubs at HMS.

Big smiles all around today thanks to 😁🎉 They sponsored our Teacher Appreciation Lunch and our teachers are GLOWING. These educators pour their hearts into our kids every day — and today we got to pour a little love right back. Thank you for making it happen! 💛❤️🤍

On Monday, started Teacher Appreciation Week right with a yummy grab and go biscuit bar sponsored by & organized by our PTO. They even treated our custodial staff to monogrammed cups for all the work they do keeping our clean and safe for our students and staff. We ❤️ our community partners and parents!

Attention Rising 6th Grade Families: We invite you to HMS Beach Party on Thursday, May 7th. At the Beach Party, planned by our current students, we will have information about extracurricular clubs and games and prizes. Our Becoming Bearcat and Sources of Strength student mentors will also be there to tell you more about our mentoring program for all 6th grade students. We would love to have as many future Bearcats as possible to attend and look forward to meeting you.
