Our 4th graders had an incredible opportunity to learn CPR from students at Beech High School! ❤️ Students learned important lifesaving skills, practiced proper CPR techniques, and discovered how they can take action and help during an emergency.

We are so proud of our Mustangs for being eager to learn, actively participating, and gaining skills that could one day help save a life! Thank you to the Beech High School students for providing such a meaningful, hands-on learning experience!

💙 Donations in Action! 💙

Thanks to the generosity of our amazing families and community, we are able to provide our Mustang students with exciting new opportunities like this!

Students are getting the chance to test out our NEW rock wall during PE this week and next! We are so excited to see them challenge themselves, build confidence, and have some fun along the way!

👟 Don’t forget: Be sure to wear tennis shoes on your PE days so you can give the rock wall a try!

We are so grateful for a community that continues to invest in our students!

Growing Greatness at Burrus!

Our Burrus Greenhouse and Garden has been busy growing, blooming, and producing! We are so excited to share a little glimpse of the beautiful fruits, vegetables, and flowers harvested right here at our school.

Our garden is so much more than what we grow; it gives our Mustangs an opportunity to experience hands-on learning, responsibility, teamwork, and the excitement of seeing their hard work come to life! From garden to harvest, these real-world learning experiences make STEAM education so special. Shout-out to our Greenhouse Queen, Mrs. Dickson, and her team for keeping the greatness growing!

We are pretty proud of what’s growing at Burrus, both in our garden and in our students!
