We are excited to announce our first ever Rock Band Club. Thanks to PTO, several generous donors, and Ms. Lyles we have the means to Rock Out this coming year at Burrus! Parents, email Mr. Pratt for more information and to sign your little rocker up! Members will be selected by auditions. Space is limited.

Teacher Swap Day at Dr. William Burrus Elementary! 🎉

Because of the amazing support from our students, families, and staff during the Fun Run, we raised OVER $60K for our school! As part of the celebration, teachers traded classrooms for the day, with a spin of the wheel deciding their new assignments. From kindergarten to 5th grade, music to art, our staff jumped right in, embraced the chaos, and made the day so much fun for students and staff alike!

There was laughter, teamwork, new experiences, and so many unforgettable memories made throughout the building. No matter the classroom, our teachers showed they are always willing to do what’s best for kids and support one another along the way. 💙

A special thank you to The Grind Coffee House for providing delicious coffee and drinks from the PTO to help keep everyone going throughout the day! We appreciate you all so much! ☕

We had a wonderful K-2nd Grade Field Day today!! Our 3rd -5th grade field day will be tomorrow! Our Pop-Up Bookfair will be open again tomorrow! Mrs. Rexroat & Mrs. Anderson will be on the back patio, stop by and see them!
