Day 3 at the 2026 NC FFA Convention was one to remember! 💙💛
We started the morning with breakfast at the NC Farmers Market Restaurant. A huge thank you to North River Farms for generously sponsoring our meal. We are incredibly grateful for your endless support of our chapter and our members!
On Wednesday, our Quiz Bowl Team and Gator Wars Team competed, representing West Henderson FFA with pride. Congratulations to our Gator Wars Team for advancing to the Top 3 and bringing home the state title with a 1st Place finish! We couldn’t be more proud of their hard work, teamwork, and determination.
We are also proud to recognize Rylee LeDuc, who was honored as an American FFA Degree Candidate during the convention. The American FFA Degree is the highest degree awarded by the National FFA Organization, and this recognition reflects years of dedication, leadership, and commitment to agricultural education. Congratulations, Rylee! We are incredibly proud of your hard work and all you have accomplished.
After a successful day of competition, we celebrated together with an evening at Frankie’s Fun Park, making memories that will last a lifetime.
We would also like to give a special thank you to our advisor, Mr. Livingston, for always believing in us, supporting us, and making opportunities like these possible. Thank you as well to our wonderful chaperones, Mr. and Mrs. Braznell and Mrs. Levi, for taking care of our members throughout the week and helping make this trip so special.
Finally, we want to wish Mrs. Levi the very best as she begins her new role as a middle school agriculture teacher at Rugby. We know she will make a lasting impact on the next generation of agricultural leaders, and we can’t wait to see all she accomplishes.
