Using a pentatonic scale throughout your entire range (starting as low as possible (no vocal fry) and modulating until the top note is almost impossible to phonate with support) with a raised palate and supported hum on the first 2 or 3 notes ending with [a], [e] and other vowels will not only help with keeping the palate raised but will also help blend the passaggio(s). Seems trivial but if this isn't consistent.......yeah.

Note to self: For the next 8 months you will learn the 'ins' and 'outs' of Czech diction and mark and remark your Antonín Dvořák's "Ten Biblical Songs" score all to pieces. You MUST do this first, understand the text and then be able to speak the text fluently all before studying the music.

This is already quite interesting!
