Professor Manegdeg, my very first instructor, and his family visited us all the way from Colorado last week. Being able to learn from him again was truly an honor. He poured his wisdom, knowledge, and heart into our Kempo Family here in Tennessee, leaving a lasting impact on every student.

One of my favorite things is to watch the kids just enjoy each other’s company and play “rough” together after class. Not only because it’s fun and funny to watch them wrestle around each other lol, but also it’s good for their brain and body development.

Research shows that safe, supervised rough-and-tumble play between same aged children is highly beneficial for development. It helps build strong social skills, emotional control, and supports healthy physical growth.

At our school, our kids grow into well-rounded individuals alongside their peers in a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment, and build lifelong friendships along the way!☺️✨
