As we begin our seventh school year, we’re filled with gratitude for every family who has trusted us with their children. What started as a dream has grown into a thriving community where curiosity is celebrated, relationships matter, and children are encouraged to love learning.

Being school owners is incredibly meaningful, but being parents to both a Navigator and an Older 2 this year makes this journey even more personal. Every decision we make is guided by the same hopes we have for our own children: that they feel safe, inspired, known, and excited to come to school each day.

At 18 months old, the true work of preschool is entirely hands-on.

When you peek into our youngest classrooms at Ivybrook Academy, you will see toddlers actively engaged in the profound work of sensory and physical discovery. Daily activities include:

Ms. Christy has been a cherished part of the Ivybrook family since the very beginning—first as a parent, and over the past several years as a dedicated educator who has poured her heart into helping our students learn, grow, and thrive.

Her passion for children, commitment to our school community, and belief in the Ivybrook mission make her a wonderful addition to our leadership team. We are so excited to welcome Miss Christy into her new role as Assistant Principal for this school year!

With more than 30 years in early childhood education and a heart for the Reggio Emilia approach, Ms. Anne is passionate about creating a school where every child feels loved, inspired, and celebrated.

Now entering another wonderful year at Ivybrook, she feels incredibly blessed to partner with our amazing families and watch children grow through curiosity, creativity, and meaningful relationships.
