Thank you, thank you, thank you to all the families that trusted us to love on your kiddos this week! There is no better to introduce creativity, sharing and getting messy than at our art station! We have crafts that follow the theme of the week but also just the freedom to paint with your hands, paint the trees and just get your hands dirty! We have painted ice cubes, made mud pies, and lots of hand prints throughout the years!

It is always fun to see the kiddos light up when we say “YES, absolutely!” to painting with their hands on our vertical paint wall!

Hello! This is Lauren, one of your Forest Camp teachers this summer! I have been an English Learner teacher in Unicoi County for the last year and a half! I also worked for two summer at an all-girls summer camp in North Carolina. I love walking, hiking, and reading a good book! Hey there, it’s Anna one of your Forest Camp teachers this summer!
I have spent the last 2.5 years in southern Colorado working full time at a Montessori preschool/kindergarten. I love hiking, camping, and spending time out on the river. I believe children thrive when they can use their imagination and push their bodies out in nature and I CANT wait to encourage your kids to do the same!
For added safety I am CPR certified as well🤩

A time to refuel our bodies with food and water while letting the kiddos rest their legs for awhile. Snack time also helps kids try new foods, learn to prepare fruits and veggies and have fun! Some snacks are interactive, some are new foods but they are all on theme with the lessons of the day!

Can’t wait to see what snacks will be shared in the forest this summer!
