Welcome, Class of 2030!

What a fantastic evening it was! From exploring club booths, to hearing from our guidance counselors and administrative team, to visiting our CTE classrooms, it was a pleasure having you on campus. We are excited to welcome you this fall and look forward to all you will bring to our school community.

We encourage each of you to get involved in our CTE clubs and take advantage of the many opportunities available to you.

Mrs. Turner’s Lean Six Sigma students got to tour an Amazon plant and see how what they are learning in class is used in the plant. Thank you Amazon.com for letting students tour your facilities.

What a wonderful two days the students had learning about skilled trade jobs! A huge thank you to Be Pro Be Proud Tn and Nashville Electric Services for your time and passion for investing in the future work force.

We have a fun and unique opportunity at Beech tomorrow and Thursday to show students different careers in the trades industry. Be Pro Be Proud will be set up in the back parking lot of the school. It is a large custom-semi trailer outfitted as a mobile workshop designed to bring awareness of skilled trade careers by featuring hands-on simulators and interactive stations for a variety of skilled trades. Some of the careers offered are welding, heavy equipment operation, truck driving, lineman work, robotics, and CNC machinery. If your child is a junior or senior and is interested in touring the trailer, please email [email protected] or have your child stop by Mrs. Mitchell’s office to sign up.

Have dinner at Raising Canes tomorrow night and help this DECA group raise money for the Ronald McDonald House of Nashville while eating out. Mention code RCFUND96. This group plans to provide a meal for the house as well as a toy drive during the holidays.

The Criminal Justice students in Ms. Tyler’s class got to tour the Sumner County Jail and the Sumner County Courthouse yesterday. It was very informative. We really appreciate everyone who took time out of their day to make this experience possible! Our students are so blessed to live in such a wonderful community.

The students celebrated innovation, creativity, and technical skills among other engineering students as well as heard presentstuons from professors.
Congratulations to Kylee Hill who received a 500.00 scholarship to go towards books and lab fees.

This group of students had a wonderful day getting to speak to all the companies who set up at Dozer Day and they got to explore all the equipment set up.
The world is full of opportunities for those in the trade industry.

Thank you Tennessee Army National Guard Recruiting for coming to talk to our students today during lunch

Connor Landry, a 2020 Beech graduate spoke with our health science classes today. Connor completed the Diagnostics pathway and earned his CET (EKG technician) certification before graduation. He continued at Vol State and now works for Sumner County EMS as a paramedic. He spoke with students about a career in EMS and demonstrated use of various EMS equipment.
