Big thank you to this crew right here.

Class wrapped up at 1:00 today. We grabbed a quick lunch, came back, and have been cleaning the gym ever since (it’s 5:16PM)

These are the things most people never see—the extra work that happens after class is over and everyone else has gone home. These guys didn’t have to stay, but they did, and they jumped in wherever they were needed.

I appreciate you guys putting in the extra time and taking pride in this place. Profectus is what it is because of people who care enough to do the work behind the scenes.

Congratulations to Tillman on stepping onto the competition mats for the very first time.

Your first tournament is something you’ll never forget, and you couldn’t have been tested much harder. You drew two extremely tough matches, stayed composed, trusted your training, and found a way to come out on top.

That’s what competition is about. Not chasing easy brackets, but having the courage to test yourself against good opponents and see what you’re made of.

I’m proud of the way you represented Profectus. This is just the beginning, and I have no doubt there are many more tournaments ahead.

Great job, Tillman. Now it’s back to the academy to keep improving. 👊

Yesterday was a good reminder of what consistency looks like.

At Grappling Games Nashville, Profectus Jiu-Jitsu brought home:

🏆 Overall Team Champions – 460 points
🥇 1st Place Adult Team
🥇 1st Place No-Gi Team
🥈 2nd Place Kids & Teen Team (just 1 point out of 1st)
🥈 2nd Place Gi Team

These results don’t happen because of one great day. They happen because of hundreds of ordinary days. Late nights. Tough rounds. Showing up when you don’t feel like it. Choosing discipline over excuses.
I’m proud of everyone who stepped on the mat yesterday.

To our coaches, parents, teammates, and everyone who helped prepare these athletes—thank you. This is a team accomplishment.

Tomorrow we’ll be back on the mats doing what got us here in the first place.
