Vance County Arts Council is coordinating our local Make Music Day celebration on June 21, 2026, joining communities around the world in a free, worldwide celebration of music.

We are looking for local musicians, singers, bands, ensembles, and performers of all styles and skill levels who would like to take part. All types of music and instruments are welcome. The more variety, the better.

We are also seeking local venues, businesses, organizations, churches, and community spaces that would be willing to host performances throughout the day. Venues may choose the time slots that work best for them and may decide whether performances are open to the public or private.

The Vance County Arts Council will help connect participating musicians with available venues. Performances may be photographed or recorded for promotional and marketing purposes.

To sign up as a musician or venue, please contact Alice Sallins at 252-767-4579.
