Little Genius is a 24 hours, seven days a week Group Day Care.

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, we have toddler and a pre-K program.
The Pre-k class, will be outdoor. We are also building a overnight room. Open Registration for Pre-k students

One day at Little Genius Tots

We are often asked, what happen after we drop our kids in CHILD CARE, I invited you to be part of one day at Little Genius.

Before you drop your child, I clean up and disinfect the whole house so your child is in a clean environment.

The first thing the kids and staff do they wash their hands. Both children and adults should wash their hands several times throughout the days as recommended by the National Health and Safety Performance Standards. The importance of hand washing as a significant preventive measure of reducing the spread of germs.

Free Play, kids learn by playing. Little Genius knows that free play is important to for healthy brain development, allowing children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, cognitive and physical abilities.

Small group is important yet but no the most. During small group kids learn cooperation and teamwork skills

Meals at Little Genius are family style. You can see children actively participate during meals and snacks by setting and cleaning table, serving themselves and cleaning up their own messes.
Mealtime are pleasant and teacher acts as role modeling.

Outdoor play has numerous benefits. It allows kids to explore their environment, develop muscle strength and coordination, and gain self-confidence. Children get the opportunity to explore the world from a new perspective.

Nap time is one of the most stressful transition in early childhood, but nap time is so important up to kindergarten. Between the age 3 and 6 there is a critical period of brain developing, it is when the hippocampus growth rapidly. While the kids sleep between 60min to 90 min the brain transfer what the child just learn into a long-term memory. Children missing a nap significantly and negatively reduce memory in several areas ranging from motor skills development to regulation of emotion.

Un día en Little Genius Tots

A menudo nos preguntan qué sucede después de dejar a nuestros hijos en la escuelita. Los invito a que pasen un día en Little Genius.

Antes de que ustedes dejen a sus hijo, limpio y desinfecto toda la casa para que su hijo esté en un ambiente limpio, que huele agradable y seguro.

Lo primero que hacen los niños y el personal es lavarse las manos al entrar a la escuela. Tanto los niños como los adultos deben lavarse las manos varias veces a lo largo del día según lo recomendado por las Normas Nacionales de Rendimiento en Materia de Salud y Seguridad. La importancia del lavado de manos como medida preventiva para reducir la propagación de gérmenes.

Juego libre, los niños aprenden jugando. Little Genius sabe que el juego libre es importante para el desarrollo saludable del cerebro, permitiendo a los niños usar su creatividad mientras desarrollan su imaginación, destreza, habilidades cognitivas y físicas.

El grupo pequeño es importante, pero no indispensable. Durante los grupos pequeños, los niños aprenden a trabajar en equipo y cooperan uno y entre otro.

Las comidas en Little Genius son de estilo familiar. Puede ver a los niños participar activamente durante las comidas y los refrigerios. Los niños ayudan a poner la mesa, limpiar la mesa, sirviéndose a sí mismos y limpiando sus propios líos.
La hora de la comida es agradable y el maestro actúa como modelo a imitar.

El juego al aire libre tiene numerosos beneficios. Permite a los niños explorar su entorno, desarrollar fuerza muscular y coordinación, y adquirir confianza en sí mismos. Los niños tienen la oportunidad de explorar el mundo desde una nueva perspectiva.

La siesta es una de las transiciones más estresantes en la primera infancia, pero la siesta es muy importante hasta el Kinder. Entre los 3 y los 6 años hay un período crítico de desarrollo del cerebro, es cuando el hipocampo crece rápidamente. Mientras los niños duermen entre 60 y 90 minutos, el cerebro transfiere lo que el niño acaba de aprender a una memoria a largo plazo. Los niños que pierden una siesta reducen de manera significativa y negativa la memoria en varias áreas, desde el desarrollo de habilidades motoras hasta la regulación de la emoción.
