It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our friend and colleague, Dr. Mike Cravens. Mike was a gifted educator, a respected professional, and an even better person. He invested deeply in the lives of others, offering wisdom, encouragement, and friendship to so many along the way.

We’re thankful for the memories we shared and for the impact he had on our lives and the lives of countless others. Our prayers are with his family and loved ones as they grieve this tremendous loss. We’re proud to see members of the Freed-Hardeman University Behavioral Sciences family sharing their expertise at the TLPCA Conference!

Chase Sanders and Mikaela Rowland-Pearce, graduates of our CMHC program, presented Helping Families Heal Together: Engaging Caregivers in Child Trauma Therapy.

Dr. Jeremy Northrop, professor in our Doctor of Behavioral Health program, presented The Addicted, Developing Brain: Biological Implications and Treatment Suggestions.

Dr. Mason Hale, CMHC graduate and adjunct instructor in our Clinical Mental Health Counseling program, presented Supporting the Growth of Bereaved Clients through Meaning Reconstruction and Posttraumatic Growth.
