Hey Vegas BC Survivor Sisters! Quick message...The Pink Paddler Dragon Boat Team is recruiting for the Long Beach Regatta! We already have18 Pinks committed to race, and collect more bling!

Long Beach regulations allow for 18 paddlers and 2 alternates.

Although we have the bases covered with 18, I'd like to recruit at least 2 more Survivor Sisters to join us in our quest for gold (if we get a few more, that's even better)!

Please talk to fellow survivor sisters, past Pink Paddlers or BC survivors you come across in your day to day travels over the next month. Ask if they'd be interested in coming out and being part of this awesome team!

ALL LEVELS (of paddlers) are welcome. Newbies or veterans, they can be newly diagnosed, in treatment, just starting recovery or a long time survivor...the only reqirements to be a part of this team are:

1. Must be a BC Survivor
2. Must be a team player
3. Must consistently show up for practices (no last minute walk-ons, we're looking for committed teammates).

Practices will be held on Monday evenings 6:00pm and some Sunday's at 8:45am

Every committed Pink will be guaranteed to paddle at least 1 race in Long Beach (there are only 2 total).

Race dates are July 18th-19th. Anyone interested needs to contact me before May 1st.

2015 is here and already gaining momentum. I am bringing a small group of like minded people together for 90 days to set personal goals, brainstorm 'next' steps and hold each other accountable for getting s**t done!

I have been taking part in Mastermind groups for the past three years and can't begin to express how inspiring they can be! To put it simply, many-minds holding space, solving problems and celebrating accomplishments is much more powerful than one mind struggling along a lonely path...all I can say is, It works!

What kind of goals? Whatever is calling you...as a group, we figure out ways for You to do what needs to be done and Make it Happen! It's all about You and 5 others creating their best life!

Here's the layout...

*No more than 6 members, plus myself as facilitator...(keeping it small and intimate)

*Everyone sets a personal goal and becomes accountable to everyone else in the group.

*We meet 2 Tuesdays a month in Henderson for three months.

*Weekly check- in in a private fb group (only members of your group can see postings). This is a big part of Everyone staying on track through the week.

I wanted to invite you all to come out and cheer on the Pink Paddler Dragon Boat team in Tempe, Az on March 28th and 29th, 2015...you will need to make your own hotel reservations and be self-sufficient in making travel, eating and entertainment plans, but I can promise you a great time on race day as you support your survivor sisters in this awesome competition. There will be plenty of hugs, comraderie and mountanous peaks of excitement!

"Hi Terry - I was wondering if maybe we could discuss how to pay for chemo [...]. I've been trying to get more info but am more confused than ever. I don't have a date for chemo yet but am overwhelmed by the whole chemo expense. I was wondering if other members could share their stories on how they managed paying for chemo. Thank you for any info you can provide"
