KVA Independence Day is Friday!

Friday marks a BIG milestone as our Lower School Spartans begin walking to class independently! 🎉

To help us celebrate, we’re asking our ENTIRE KVA FAMILY — ELC, Lower School & Upper School — to wear SPARTAN COLORS this Friday! 💙🧡

Let’s fill the campus with BLUE & ORANGE and cheer on our littlest Spartans as they take this big step!

💙🧡 Help us welcome Miss Reece to the Spartan family! Miss Reece is a retired Vance County Schools social worker and will be leading our KVA Kids After School Program while also helping throughout KVA as needs arise. We are so excited to have her! 🧡💙

📍 KVA Kids Reminder: KVA Kids will now be housed in our Early Learning Center. For pickup, park out back, walk up the steps, and knock on the door marked KVA After School. Signs will be posted to help guide you!

⛳️ THE KVA GOLF TOURNAMENT IS BACK! ⛳️

After a full field for our inaugural tournament last year, we are excited to announce the 2nd Annual Kerr Vance Academy Golf Tournament!

📍 Henderson Country Club
⏰ Registration begins at 12:00 PM
🏌️ Shotgun start at 12:30 PM

Last year’s tournament was a fantastic day of golf, fellowship, and support for KVA, and we are looking forward to making year two even better!

Registration is now open for teams, and with a full tournament last year, we encourage you to get your team together and reserve your spot early.

We also have several sponsorship opportunities available for businesses and individuals who would like to support KVA and we are looking for raffle item donations as well.

First week back = DONE! 💙🧡

There were new routines, new faces, a few bumps in the road, lots of learning, lots of laughter, and plenty of Spartan spirit. Most importantly, our halls were full again, and it felt so good to have our KVA family back together.

Week one reminded us that new beginnings don’t have to be perfect to be GOOD. We’re learning, growing, adjusting, and moving forward together.

Here’s to a great year ahead, Spartans! One week down… we’ve got this!

There are first days… and then there are last first days. 🥹💙🧡

Wednesday marked the beginning of a very special year for our KVA seniors—their last first day of school as Spartans.

The year ahead will be filled with a lot of “lasts.” Last home games. Last dances. Last spirit weeks. Last walks through these halls as students. And before we know it, one final walk across the stage.

Seniors, don’t rush it. Take the pictures. Laugh a little louder. Show up for each other. Make the memories. Leave your mark.

You only get one senior year.

Make it count. Make it yours. And always remember—once a Spartan, always a Spartan. 💙🧡
