This year, we are going to do something different on this page. For the 24 days that the State Fair is open, we will showcase different honey bottles that were sent to display on our shelves. For example:

This is Sabine Creek Honey Farm from Josephine, TX in the Southeast corner of Collin County. In 1985, John Talbert started his beekeeping journey and in 2014 his son, John (Skip), started in the business. This is a wildflower variety.

So, we would like to showcase your honey. Skip will have his hands full getting the information and posting it here. This can be shared to other sites and let others know about our Texas Beekeepers. What an opportunity to tell others about your honey.

Beekeepers around the world are being invited to Vatican City this December for a truly historic occasion.

On Friday, 11 December 2026, beekeepers will gather for a special private audience with the Pope.

That's followed on Saturday, 12 December, by a Holy Mass for beekeepers at Borgo Laudato Si'.

The gathering is organized by APIMONDIA International Federation of Beekeepers' Associations, the EBA - European Beekeeping Association, and the Slovenian Beekeepers' Association (ČZS), and brings together beekeepers from different countries, traditions, and organizations in a shared celebration of beekeeping and its role in caring for our planet.

Please only register if you are a beekeeper, a current member of either ABF or EAS, agree to make your own travel and accommodation arrangements, and agree to meet with ABF at the designated meeting spot at least one hour before the scheduled events.
