ACES Tutoring Services ACES is a full-service tutoring company. Each lesson is developed around the individual child's needs I am aware of students varying needs and learning styles.

I have over 9 years of classroom experience and a master’s degree in elementary education. It is my goal to help all students exceed in school while developing a love of learning. All children have a preferred learning style. As an instructional provider it is my hope to tap into that style and prepare lessons that a child needs while teaching in a style that will give the student the necessary skills to carry over into the classroom. The best way to help a student achieve academic success is to be able to identify the child’s strengths and weaknesses. ACES will work with the child’s teacher to understand the development and meet the needs of the students. The goal is to create a whole learner, build self-esteem and educational success. I provide a variety of services for elementary and middle school students including but not limited to reading recovery, homework help, basic skill building as well as, keeping up and improving skills over vacation time.

Students who don’t read proficiently by the 3rd grade are 4 times likelier to drop out of school.

2/3rds of students who cannot read proficiently by the end of 4th grade will end up in jail or on welfare.

Over 70% of America’s inmates cannot read above a 4th grade level.

Nearly 85% of the juveniles who face trial in the juvenile court system are functionally illiterate, proving there is a close relationship between illiteracy and crime. Over 60% of all inmates are functionally illiterate.

Some states determine how many prison beds will be needed in future years in part on how well current elementary students are performing on reading tests.
