Happy Instructional Coach’s Day to the one and only Mrs. Christopher-Rubin! She truly makes a difference in the lives of both our staff and students. Mrs. Christopher-Rubin works tirelessly to support, encourage, and inspire those around her. She has a gift for seeing potential in everyone and helping others recognize it in themselves.

She is the definition of a team player, is always willing to do whatever it takes to help our school grow and thrive. Her dedication, heart, and commitment to our school are evident in all that she does. We are incredibly blessed and grateful to have such an amazing coach!

Mrs. Bowen’s friends are having so much fun learning all about the letter M today! They are practicing how to write the letter and even spotting it in our everyday activities. We are discovering that letters are everywhere! They got hands-on and creative by: Making the letter M with finger paint; Walking the letter M on the floor; Creating M with leaves; and Finding M in their daily surroundings!

When the sky is falling… our little engineers get to work! We added a fun little extension to our CKLA Kindergarten lesson with Chicken Little and her friends! After reading the story, our friends took on a creative challenge: Build a shelter strong enough to protect Chicken Little and her friends from the falling sky (and acorns!).

With teamwork, creativity, and a little trial and error, our kindergarten engineers designed, built, tested, and improved their shelters.

Today was a fantastic day for our first graders on their trip to Saddlerock Farm in Henderson!

Our students had a blast exploring the farm, enjoying the sights and sounds of the season, and searching for that perfect pumpkin to take home. From farm adventures to big smiles, it was a day full of fun, learning, and wonderful memories made together!

A huge thank-you to Saddlerock Farm for welcoming our students and helping make their field trip so special! We’re so grateful for opportunities to learn beyond the classroom and experience our community firsthand. What a pumpkin-perfect day!
