These talented artists got off to a great start today on their Eiffel Tower painting inspired by Leonid Afremov.
After they finished the detailed drawing, they started the rich colorful background by dabbing in layers of texture with their brush. Great work students!

The students will learn about the essential elements and principles of art and the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dali. Two projects will be created: a vibrant painting of the Eiffel Tower at night and a surrealistic artwork in the style of Dali. Class times: Fridays, August 21, 28, September 4, 11, 18, 25.

World Renown Artist Leonid Afremov was born in Vitebsk, Belarus. He faced professional restrictions and censorship under the Soviet regime due to his Jewish heritage. He moved to Israel for more freedom; the bright Mediterranean light heavily inspired his shift toward warm, luminous color palettes.
He settled in Boca Raton, Florida, where he gained wider exposure and built a market for his distinctive style.
