CWJC of Rusk County

We had an end-of-the-year bonus today. Several of our students took a field trip to the Museum of Antiquities at Texas Baptist Institute & Seminary. 1,300 artifacts! (Four from our group are not pictured in the group photo.)

UPDATE: 📣 We are inviting all persons interested in cleaning our building to meet for a building tour on TUESDAY JUNE 16, 2026. Tour times are 10am or 4pm.
We are looking for a responsible, trustworthy person for light cleaning our office. We offer flexible after - hours scheduling of your services. Candidate much pass background checks.

Last Tuesday we were honored to provide the program for Kiwanis Club. Haley Burks was recognized as our latest GED graduate. BobbieJo briefly shared about her experience preparing for the GED test. Mary shared about her drive to improve her oral English, and Clara, an ESL student, shared about her son's love for our Read with Me program. Loretta Roberts shared about being a CWJC volunteer teacher. The girls were also excited about having their photo made with our mayor, Henry Pace.

Several students took an amazing visit to First Methodist Church to view the display of crosses in the church's prayer room. Each of these crosses was made by Loretta Roberts's father, Fred, who is now in his 90's.
