Ending our first week of school on a high note! 🇺🇸

This year, our goal is for every HCHS student to discover the opportunities available through Career & Technical Education. We want YOU to be a part of CTE!

As we begin another exciting school year, we are ready to Live Our Legacy by helping students explore their interests, develop real-world skills, and prepare for success beyond high school.

We couldn’t have asked for a better first week, and we are incredibly thankful for the outstanding teachers who make our CTE programs possible. We can’t wait to see what this school year has in store for our students, staff, and programs.

Today, 298 HCHS seniors celebrated an unforgettable day at Holiday World for their Senior Trip! 🎢☀️

What made this group even more special??!?
Every senior in attendance is officially postsecondary ready. They are prepared to take the next step toward college, career, military service, or the workforce.

It was a well deserved opportunity to celebrate their hard work, accomplishments, and bright futures before they walk across the stage next week. We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2026 and all they have achieved!

The Henderson County High School Career and Technical Education Department was honored to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of our students at the annual CTE Banquet.

The evening recognized 16 CTE Students of the Year, each selected for their exceptional performance, leadership, and dedication within their pathway, along with one distinguished CTE Hall of Fame Student whose achievements exemplify the very best of HCHS CTE.

A highlight of the event was the employment signing ceremony, where 23 business and industry partners signed 49 graduating seniors to full-time positions after graduation. These signings represent the powerful impact of partnerships between education and industry and demonstrate the value of providing students with real-world experiences that lead directly to career opportunities.

This event serves as a testament to the hard work of our students, the passion of our instructors, and the continued support of our community partners. We are incredibly proud of all that our students have accomplished and look forward to seeing the success they achieve in the years ahead.

Thank you to the employers, families, educators, and supporters who make opportunities like this possible.

Congratulations to the seniors who officially committed to their universities today as they continue their journey in the field of education. From future elementary and preschool teachers to aspiring social workers and high school educators, each of these students has a bright future ahead.
We are excited to watch them grow and succeed, and we hope to welcome them back to Henderson County Schools one day as inspiring professionals in the classroom✏️🍎
