Deaconess Health Systems provided orientation for our health science internship students. The future of healthcare in Henderson looks very promising and we could not provide these opportunities without our amazing partners.

🇺🇸 110 Flights. One Powerful Tribute. Never Forget.

Today, our stadium was opened to our community as we came together to honor and remember the lives lost and the heroes who answered the call on September 11, 2001. Members of our community joined HCHS students and staff, including our Fire Science, PE, Weightlifting, and JROTC programs, to climb 110 flights of stairs, representing the 110 stories of the World Trade Center.

Each step was taken in remembrance of the first responders who climbed those stairs toward danger to help others. We are incredibly proud of our students, staff, first responders, and community members who participated and helped make this tribute so meaningful.

We climb because they climbed. We remember because we must. 🇺🇸

Update…. 9/11 sunrise ceremony is canceled due to weather and the stair climb will now start at 8 am, pending weather.

Ending our first week of school on a high note! 🇺🇸

This year, our goal is for every HCHS student to discover the opportunities available through Career & Technical Education. We want YOU to be a part of CTE!

As we begin another exciting school year, we are ready to Live Our Legacy by helping students explore their interests, develop real-world skills, and prepare for success beyond high school.

We couldn’t have asked for a better first week, and we are incredibly thankful for the outstanding teachers who make our CTE programs possible. We can’t wait to see what this school year has in store for our students, staff, and programs.

We Want YOU for Career & Technical Education!
❤️🤍💙
