Cates Farm Corn Maze and Produce We are a family farm that raises fresh produce for our local community and sells at the farmers market. We are open mid-September through the month of October.

We also open our farm in the fall as an agritourism site so that people can experience a working farm and enjoy autumn outdoors. Cates Farm offers fall fun for families and individuals and groups of all ages. Fall activities for the whole family include a 13 acre corn maze, pick your own pumpkin in a ten acre pumpkin patch, hayrides, bonfires, jump pad, chess, checkers, straw maze, barrel train, c

orn pit and much more. There is often a food truck on Saturday and Sundays. We host school groups during the week by appointment only. We are now booking parties, schools, organizations and other groups.

Don’t forget that our enclosed self serve trailer is at the farm (8132 Pruitt Agnew Road) stocked with the variety of produce we are harvesting. We have lots of watermelon in addition to cantaloupes, okra, squash, zucchini, new potatoes, a variety of peppers and a few tomatoes.

(Week of August 24-29) As we transition to our fall season, we will only be at Columbia Sportswear for the Wednesday shift change and the Henderson Farmers Market on Saturday, August 29. Our self-serve trailer will be at the farm (8132 Pruitt Agnew Road) with the limited variety of produce that we are still harvesting and watermelons. Market day! We will be at the Henderson Farmers Market today, Saturday, August 22, from 9:30 am until noon with lots of watermelons, cantaloupes and the vegetables that are still producing in our garden. We will also have a variety of Farmer and Frenchman gourmet mushrooms including golden and blue oyster and coral tooth mushrooms.

We will be at the Henderson Farmers Market Friday, August 21 and Saturday, August 22, from 9:30 am until noon. There is a change in this week’s schedule. We will not be at the Webster County Farmer's Market or the Henderson County Public Library on Wednesday, August 19. You can still visit the self serve enclosed trailer at the farm for watermelons and limited cantaloupes and vegetables.
