We are so lucky to have Kaelin on our team!

We want you to meet one of the many people behind the curtain. 🎭

This is Kaelin Hildreth, the Event Coordinator here at the Preston Arts Center. Kaelin is a Henderson native, born and raised right here. He spent a few years living in Atlanta and Milwaukee before finding his way back home. And we are so glad he did.

When he is not at the PAC, you might find him on the soccer field coaching the North Middle School Lady Cadets, writing a screenplay, or spending Sunday evenings with his family over a board game. He’s also a Chelsea FC supporter so don’t hold that against him if you follow the Premier League. ⚽

But what makes Kaelin the right person for this role goes beyond his love for Henderson. He has been performing on this very stage since he was young. The PAC is not just a job for him, it is personal. And his vision is simple; to make sure every person in Henderson knows about this hidden gem in their backyard and feels welcome here.

We are just getting started. 💙

In this role, you’ll help students navigate college processes, connect with financial aid and campus resources, overcome barriers to success, and find the support they need to reach their goals. You’ll also assist with student communications, workshops, orientations, records and day-to-day departmental support.

🎉 Please join us in congratulating April R. Johnson on her new role as Financial Aid Advisor at Henderson Community College!

April has been part of the HCC family since 2019 and brings a strong background in a variety of student services roles. She also has over 30 years of professional tax preparation experience. April's experience supporting students and helping them navigate their college journey will be a valuable asset in her new role.

April earned her bachelor’s degree from Oakland City University and lives in Henderson with her adult daughter.
