Back to school night will be August 18th!

Tomorrow and the following morning will be a bittersweet time of celebration for our Silverhawks! 5th grade continuation will be held tomorrow, June 2nd from 5-6pm. Please have your fifth graders at the school by 4:45 🫶🏻 Kindergarten graduation will be the following morning, June 3rd form 8:30-9 am. Happy last week of school Henderson families! 💛💙

Good evening everyone! Field Day is coming up this Friday, May 22nd. Due to district restrictions on selling food, we can’t provide snack sales during school hours. However, PTO would like to offer preorders for snack packs to deliver to students on Field Day! Orders will need to be made by the end of day Thursday, May 21st. All money raised with these purchases will go to supplying students in need of backpacks and supplies for next school year 🎉🫶🏻 You can scan the QR code on this flyer and I will also post a purchase link below. We are so blessed to have amazing families at Henderson! I know it’s Teacher Appreciation Week, but I also want to make sure you all know how much we appreciate YOU! Thank you so much to everyone that came together to put on this potluck for our staff today 🫶🏻 It was phenomenal!

Don’t forget to order your yearbooks by this Thursday, May 7th, to avoid added shipping charges 🎉 They’ll be sent to the school and distributed to students. Books can still be purchased after the deadline, however the shipping costs are bit pricey 😅 Have a wonderful week everyone!

Henderson Elementary staff shared an apple cider toast and treats to celebrate their outstanding achievement of receiving the Governor’s Distinguished Improvement Award from the Colorado Department of Education at the end of this month. This award is given only to schools that show exceptional student growth and is measured by tremendous growth on CMAS at all grade levels. Last year our 4th and 5th grade students exceeded expectations of this growth in both ELA and Math. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and the ongoing support and dedication from our staff to make this possible! Congratulations Silverhawks! 🏆 💙💛

Yearbooks are available to order! 🎉 If you would like to customize pages for your student, they are due by April 25th. Otherwise, place your order by May 7th to avoid unnecessary shipping costs! 🫶🏻

Good evening Henderson Community! We have students participating in 4H this year that are kindly asking for you to save any aluminum can tabs you have lying around 🎉 Collecting these tabs will help them in supporting the Children’s Hospital dialysis treatment program. A tub for your tabs will be located next to the SOAR Store donations box in the main entryway of the lobby. Thank you all for supporting these students and their mission!
