Weekly Specials
At Kantor ECEC, our Weekly Specials provide children with exciting opportunities to explore, create, and discover new interests. Through a variety of enriching experiences, students are encouraged to build confidence, express creativity, and develop important social and cognitive skills in a joyful, hands-on environment.
ELA & Phonics
Our ELA & Phonics program lays the foundation for strong early literacy skills through engaging, developmentally appropriate activities. Children explore letters, sounds, vocabulary, storytelling, and early reading concepts through interactive lessons, music, games, and hands-on learning experiences that foster a lifelong love of language and reading.
Spanish
Our Spanish program introduces children to a second language in a fun and immersive way. Through songs, movement, stories, conversation, and cultural activities, students naturally develop vocabulary, listening comprehension, and confidence while gaining an appreciation for language diversity and global cultures.
Judaica
The Judaica program at Kantor ECEC nurtures each child’s connection to Jewish traditions, holidays, and values in a warm and meaningful way. Through stories, crafts, celebrations, music, and hands-on experiences, children develop a strong sense of Jewish identity, community, and pride.
Shabbat Sing
One of the highlights of the week is our joyful Shabbat Sing gathering, where children come together to celebrate the spirit of Shabbat through music, singing, movement, and tradition. This special time fosters community, connection, and excitement as we welcome Shabbat together each week.
Havdalah
Our interactive Havdalah experience helps children beautifully transition from Shabbat into the new week. Through blessings, candlelight, music, and sensory exploration with spices, students participate in this meaningful tradition in an engaging, memorable, and age-appropriate way.
Library
Our Library program inspires a love of books, storytelling, and imagination. Children enjoy exploring a variety of literature that supports language development, listening skills, creativity, and early comprehension, while building positive, lasting connections to reading.
