It is with heavy heart that our beloved Ag teacher and advisor, Mrs.Crouse, passed away peacefully this morning. On behalf of everyone here at Chester County FFA, we send our love, thoughts, and prayers to all of her loved ones. She was truly loved and adored by all. Not a day that will go by we won’t miss her. She has impacted everyone in our community in so many possible ways. She was more than just a teacher, she was a great friend, and even a second mother to most. We truly don’t know where we would be today without her. To anyone that has been impacted by her, please read her obituary and attend her Celebration of Life on Friday, May 29th at Williams Auditorium, from 5-8pm and the celebration will start at 6. Rest easy Mrs.Crouse, we will forever love and cherish you.

Last but not least, your CC FFA President, Malachi Hollamon! He is in the 12th grade and his SAE is Squared D Cattle Company! After high school he plans on attending UTM and get a degree in ag engineering to become a land surveyor! His favorite FFA memory is attending th future farmers conference his junior year!

Good morning everyone! I hope y’all are having an amazing week! This upcoming Friday is our annual banquet and if you or your child has receive an invite we would love to see all of y’all there! I have attached our food menu for friday to give y’all an idea of what we’re having served. Note: THE FRIED CHICKEN IS COOKED IN PEANUT OIL!!! Please read this is you have a peanut allergy, we will have something up at the banquet hall on Friday as a reminder again as well. So please proceed with caution. Other than that we are so excited for this upcoming week! Have a great rest of y’all’s day and God bless everyone!

Next up on our officer team is Clayton Anderson! He is in the 12th grade and serves as the CC FFA Vice president! His SAE is Anderson Cattle Farms and he plans on going to UTM for crop and soil management! His favorite FFA memory is winning the Hot Shot Award at Camp Clements 3 years in a row!

That’s a wrap! The 98th Tennessee FFA State convention comes to an end and the Chester County FFA chapter was able to have a memorable experience!

Members competed in various competitions, attended sessions, workshops, the Teach Ag rally, got their state degrees, and even competed in the Ag Science fair!

Members Kodie Weaver and Cheston Cuples served as our delegates from our chapter to help elect the new state officer team!

Members Kylie Cooper, Savannh Carnell, Clayton Anderson, and Malachi Hollamon competed in the Environmental and Natural Resources competition, while Kylie Cooper, Reece Collins, Alyssa Jackson, and Madison Seaton competed in the quiz bowl competition!

Seniors: Malachi Hollamon, Hannah Rowland, Clayton Anderson, Payton Connor, and Savannah Carnell received their state degrees they’ve spent countless hours on to achieve!
We cannot wait to see what our members accomplish next year and see what they’ll bring to the 99th state convention!!
