HHS UIL

So after a Tabroom crash equaled a long day and Academics gaming out longer than they like too. We finished with at least 2 firsts and 1 6th. Haven’t had a chance to go through everything yet. Headed home now. Well after dinner.

Both Speech & Debate and Academics are at Whitehouse Winter Games today!!!! Already bringing in the medals!! I’ll give a full run down at the end of the day!!’n

On October 28th, 3 students traveled to Ore City High school to compete in the Ore City Halloween meet. Each students brought home medal in their event! Taylor Goss placed 3rd in their first ever LD tournament, Parker Dexter placed 3rd Prose and Catherine Diaz placed 5th in Prose - her first time competing ever!!!

This is just a small example of the talent that HHS UIL is bringing to the table this year!

At the end of November, 6 students have the opportunity to compete in the chambers of the State Capital.

Tomorrow 3 students will travel to Region 7 Kilgore to compete in District/ Regional Congress competition. If they place in the top 3 then they will advance to State.
