God’s word tells us that we are living at different seasons.
Please allow your self to pause competing and comparing winter to summer, or spring.
You are at the season that is perfect for you. Your season.
And it will change.
Everything would be well at the end, if is not well- it is not the end.

There is wisdom in staying positive
Sometimes special days such as Valentine’s Day can be hard. It can be hard to see photos of all the happy couples if you are missing your loved one. It can be hard to see all the pretty flowers if you are lonely within your marriage. It can be hard if you are still longing to meet someone and just have not met the right one.
Meditation can bring comfort to a lonely heart and remind us that though we may feel alone at times, we can trust we never are.
And though we may sometimes feel unloved, we can know this is not true.
Stay positive and remember that we are ALL dearly loved by God.

There is wisdom in self-understanding
A simple definition of self-understanding is self-awareness or having a proper understanding of oneself.
Self-understanding requires people to look inward and reflect on motivations, thoughts, feelings, and patterns, disconnecting themselves from the influence of the external world to reconnect internally.
During meditation, self-understanding develops by acknowledging internal thoughts and feelings that arise throughout the practice.
Mindfulness meditation allows time and space to focus without external influence since it aims to recognize thoughts and emotional patterns without judgment.
Mindfulness allows to self reflect and re-evaluate personal behavior and thought patterns.
What behaviors and patterns do you need to focus on to develop more self-understanding?

There is wisdom in acceptance
Meditation Will Bring Acceptance
Meditation might change how you think and how you react to your thoughts, but you’ll always be you.
Meditation won’t erase your personality, stop you from thinking, nor will it give you control over all your emotions.
What it will do is forever alter the pathways that force you into habitual, and often negative, reactions to that which you perceive.
By teaching you to view your thoughts (and the world) from a new perspective, meditation will make you happier, more peaceful and kind.
Acceptance is a beautiful result from meditation.
Do you need some acceptance today?

There is wisdom in daily meditation
Meditation Myths #3
You have to be stressed or calm to meditate
What?
Are you kidding me?
Meditation is for anyone, anytime.
Although the hours before sunrise are considered prime for meditation, most experts say that anytime you can meditate is a good time.
It makes sense, especially when you consider the list of benefits that come with carving out some time each day to restore calm and inner peace.
Personally I have built a practice of meditation morning and afternoon and before bed.
When do you like to meditate?

There is wisdom in allowing change
Meditation Myths #2
In meditation, we stop our thoughts.
Our thoughts never stop, but our relationship to them changes.
The real purpose of meditation isn’t to tune out and get away from it all but to tune in and get in touch with your true Self – that eternal aspect of yourself that goes beyond all the ever-changing, external circumstances of your life.
While some people do try to use meditation as a form of escape – as a way to bypass unresolved emotional issues – this approach runs counter to all of the wisdom teachings about meditation and mindfulness.
How can you change the relationships with the thoughts that are inside your mind today?
