From September 15–October 15, we’re celebrating the cultures, traditions, histories, stories, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities ❤️

There’s no single Hispanic or Latino experience—this month is a chance to appreciate the many cultures, identities, and perspectives that make these communities so vibrant and diverse.

Here’s to celebrating, learning, and making space for the voices and stories that deserve to be heard ✨

Hello everybody! My name is Ava Aubé and I am a rising junior majoring in Civil Engineering with a minor in Mathematics.

I am overjoyed to be back as a steering committee member for RHC’s Service Leadership Program (SLP) again this year. I was a student participant my very first year at college, and last year I stepped into a leadership role. This program means a lot to me as a Hofstra student, and I am so excited to be able to continue working with first year students and involving them in our community at and around our campus!

I will be taking over the RHC Instagram story tomorrow, July 11th, to tell you all more about the program and why you should get involved! Stay tuned!

Hey everyone! My name is Devin, and I’m a rising senior majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Writing Studies. I can’t wait to be a part of the Service Leader Program (SLP) again this year!

I served as a peer leader during the first iteration of the program two years ago, I was the head leader last year, and I’m very excited to be returning as a peer leader one final time at the end of this summer.

I’ll be taking over the RHC Instagram TOMORROW, July 7th, to share why I think this program is the perfect opportunity for incoming first-year Honors College students to get engaged with the local community!

Looking forward to meeting you all!!! 🦁💙💛
