An Additional Training ride on Feb 24, 2024. Riders can choose between several well-planned routes, from a 24-mile beginner course to a 68-mile endurance ride.
Come pedal the prairie with the Eagle Initiative and Faith West Academy at the 2023 Pedaling the Prairie bike ride on Saturday, March 4, 2023. This MS150 Recommended Training Ride begins at the Waller County Fairgrounds (22000 Fairground Road in Hempstead) and cruises past the rice fields and prairie between Bellville and Katy. Breakpoints at the "Pedaling the Prairie" event are indeed staffed by Faith West Academy students. This charitable event is their biggest fundraiser, and their efforts ensure the smooth running of the event.

The Pedaling the Prairie morning kicked off at the Waller County Fairgrounds with a delicious continental breakfast, served by the amazing Faith West Academy cheerleaders. Community Coffee was also flowing to help cyclists get energized for the ride.
Keystone Construction was also on hand at the Fairgrounds, cooking up some delicious brisket to fuel up the cyclists.
Trek Bicycle Katy was on site providing mechanical service from Trek Texas mechanics.
Ready2Roll Cycling dedicated ride marshals were busy at the starting line, ensuring a smooth and safe start for all cyclists at the Pedaling the Prairie event.
