A powerful combination of in-depth training in state of the art multi-platform broadcasting studios, amazing opportunities on and off the air, mentoring by experienced broadcast professionals, and a powerful

network of alumni and industry leaders; no other college radio station in the world can match the WRHU experience. Students including first semester freshman can produce and distribute NY Islanders NHL hockey broadcasts, work on multi-platform LI Nets NBA G-league game broadcasts, create news content, host talk shows, dj music shows, and do much more. WRHU is located near Manhattan, staff can use what they learn at WRHU and grow into productive internships at the most exciting broadcast companies in NYC. Two of our incredible station members were on the ground in Garden City as President Donald Trump visited Long Island to support Bruce Blakeman in his campaign for New York State governor!

Our duo had the opportunity to cover this exciting event, speak with so many incredible people, and witness President Trump take the stage right here on Long Island! From reporting in the field to experiencing the energy of such a major event, they represented WRHU with professionalism, passion, and dedication!

Today at WRHU, we held a special memorial show honoring the late Eileen Cronin, beloved host of The Long Ireland Show. Throughout the broadcast, friends, family, and listeners shared heartfelt memories, and reflected on the impact Eileen had on so many lives. We were also honored to have live musicians perform some of Eileen’s favorite Irish songs in the studio!

Thank you to everyone who came to the station, called into the studio, and tuned in to help celebrate Eileen’s life!

You will be deeply missed, Eileen! May your legacy live on! ☘️🇮🇪💚
