On Thursday, January 15th, we pause to honor the life, legacy, and sacrifice of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. His life remains a powerful example of living out Micah 6:8:
As we approach Martin Luther King Jr. Day on January 19th, we are reminded that this is not only a day of remembrance, it is a call to action.
💜 Serving in Love
Dr. King once asked,
“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’”
One of the most meaningful ways we can honor his legacy is through service. Let us demonstrate Christ’s love through acts of kindness, generosity, and compassion. whether it’s volunteering, mentoring, giving back, or supporting our communities.
Ways to Observe & Honor This Day:
• Join us on Thursday, January 15th 6:30PM at Kennedy Memorial Park as we reflect on Dr. King’s legacy and pray for unity and justice in our communities, nation, and world
• Engage in acts of service by joining us on MONDAY at 12PM or organizing a community initiative
• Learn and educate by sharing books, resources, and documentaries about Dr. King and the Civil Rights Movement
• Discuss and commit to promoting equality and justice in our homes, workplaces, ministries, and communities
Let us be inspired by Dr. King’s example to live out our faith boldly, stand for justice, and serve others selflessly. In doing so, we honor his legacy and continue God’s work here on earth.
💛 Serving in Love. Walking in Faith. Standing for Justice.
