🚨 STORM EMERGENCY
THE SNOW
County Executive Bruce Blakeman reported that, according to the National Weather Service, there is a high chance of accumulation of 18 to 24 inches (up to 2 feet) of snow and winds up to 60 mph, which will result in very hazardous conditions and low visibility.
All non-essential vehicles should be kept off the roads from 9:00 p.m. on Sunday to 9:00 a.m. on Monday.
Only essential vehicles (emergency, municipal workers, doctors, nurses, hospital staff and essential personnel) are allowed.
The rest of the vehicles are banned on public roads.
The storm will begin today, Sunday and continue through Monday morning.
Snow will become heavier between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Sunday, with 1-2 inches per hour.
County Executive Blakeman issued an Executive Order of State of Emergency. The Office of Emergency Management is activated and the Operations Center will be operating from 9:00 a.m. Sunday throughout the storm..

Recommendations for residents that
stay home and avoid driving; if you need to go out, drive with extreme caution.
Charge cell phones and have emergency supplies ( flashlights, medicine, food and water).
When safe, check on neighbors and family and help by clearing hydrants and moving cars into driveways to facilitate the passing of snow plows.

Don't saturate emergency lines with non-urgent calls.
