🚨🧯🚒 Ending Community Helpers week on a great note!!🚨🧯🚒

🚒🚨Today we learned about what to do in an emergency, not to be afraid of our friends the fire fighters, and what it feels like to be inside of an actual fire truck! Just like the previous days this week, the kids faces were priceless! 🚓🚨🚒🥰

Thank you Hemphill VFD for coming out with your truck and showing our kids what you guys are all about! Your patience with our littles is unmatched! We appreciated you and thank you for everything you do for our community! 💚

👩‍⚕️🏥 Wellness Wednesday🏥👩‍⚕️

We had two ladies from the Sabine County Hospital come and show the kids what they do everyday to help out the community! They always give our kids such a fun and hands-on experience and make trips to the hospital or doctor so much better!👩‍⚕️🏥🩹🩺

❤️Thank you for taking the time out to talk to our kiddos! They loved it! And thank you to all the workers at Sabine County Hospital for everything you do! You are appreciated! ❤️

🚨🚑 Highlights of Tuesday’s visit 🚑🚨

Each kid got a chance to talk to an EMT and walk through the ambulance! Although the big truck and lights can bring fear to some of our little ones, Sabine County EMS did a great job of helping them get over the nerves and ensured that everyone had a great time!!

Thank you Sabine County EMS for coming out to show us around and teach the kids what to do in case of an emergency! Your willingness to not only educate, but protect and serve this community is admirable.💚

This week is Community Helpers Week at Hemphill Scholars and despite the extra chaos that comes with altering the classroom schedules, we love seeing how much the kids light up when they get to experience these visitors.

Monday we got a visit from the bus from “the big school” 🚌🚍

The kids learned about what to expect when riding the bus and how to sit nice and quiet!

Thank you Hemphill ISD for always taking the time to give our little ones this experience! Thank you to all the bus drivers that help out our community and transport our kiddos safely! 🚍💚
