Following our chapter officer retreat today, we are proud to announce that the Carvers Bay High School FFA theme for the 2026-2027 year is L.E.A.D

There truly are no words to describe everything we put this man through this week… especially being on a trip with a group of all girls. We want to give a huge thank you to our amazing ag teacher, Mr. Howard, for always pushing our students out of their comfort zones and genuinely wanting the very best for each and every one of us. Your dedication, patience, and constant support never go unnoticed, and we are beyond grateful for everything you do for our chapter. Thank you, Mr. Howard! 💙💛

We would like to give a special shoutout and thank Mrs. Wendy West for chaperoning our FFA chapter at the South Carolina FFA State Convention. She has kept all of us on track, helped prepare our students for competition, made sure no one went hungry, and been there through every emotion we’ve experienced this week. We are incredibly thankful for everything she has done and truly appreciate the time, care, and dedication she has given to our chapter. Thank you, Mrs. West! 💙💛

The 99th South Carolina State Convention & Expo was an incredible experience, and our students had a great time representing our chapter. A huge congratulations to Crystal West and Maggie Hemingway for earning 1st Place in the Region 6 Agriscience Fair! They will now advance to compete at Nationals this October. We are so proud and can’t wait to see what’s next!

South Carolina 99th State Convention Day 1 is officially over. Today Crystal West, Leah Benton, Lilly Tanner, and Maggie Hemingway competed in Ag communications CDE and Courtney Owens competed in Agriculture Education CDE. Results are to come!

We also received the Superior National Chapter award!

Monday we spent the day preparing for all competitions for the week! (Picture proof below)
