🚨 FINAL REMINDER: Bus Registration Deadline is TODAY! 🚨

🚌 NISD Bus Registration Required for 2026–2027 🚌

Today, June 30, is the last day to register your child for bus transportation to be guaranteed a ride for the first day of school.

⚠️ Important Change: This does not roll over from previous years. Even if your child rode the bus last year, families must register again and select transportation needs for the upcoming school year.

If you register after today, your child may not be guaranteed bus transportation starting August 10.

🚌 NISD Transportation Update for 2026-2027🚍

📅 Deadline: June 30, 2026

NISD has implemented a new transportation registration process for the upcoming school year.

⚠️ This is a change from previous years, so even returning riders should review their transportation selection or confirm they have already selected transportation for next school year.

What Parents Should Do:
1️⃣ Complete student registration.
2️⃣ Select transportation needs during registration.
3️⃣ Verify transportation eligibility.
4️⃣ Submit your request by June 30.

📱 Parent Tip: Check out the free “Here Comes the Bus®” app! I’ve used it for the past two years and love it. The app allows families to track their child’s bus in real time, receive notifications, and know when the bus is approaching their stop. Many parents may not realize this helpful tool is available through NISD.

Northside ISD has introduced a new Parent Portal that will provide parents with access to TEA-designated instructional materials used in the classroom, starting with K-12 math resources.
