Spent today in Key Biscayne park and some other nearby beaches. Snorkeling, climbing trees and checking out a beautiful lighthouse were our priorities. Now down in Key Largo for some scuba on Sunday.

Witnessed the miracle of a sea turtle being born, coming through its egg, getting past the sea gulls, and finally being taken by a wave and swimming off!

You are witnessing a miracle. A sea turtle broke out of its shell and made the slow journey to the ocean yesterday on Pompano Beach. The turtles have been hatching here for hundreds of thousands of years. To get to witness this is a gift! Video credit to Zac Russell.

Dany Brind’Amour and I were part of a group of gay hikers that climbed Mount Kilimanjaro back in January 2015! Super cool time! He just happened to be Ft Lauderdale this week so we connected after many years. He is the coolest dude and hasn’t changed at all. When I was having a hard time with altitude on Killy, he was super supportive. Great to see you after so many years!!! Thanks to Robert Sharp and OUT Adventures for making the trip and memories possible.
