Dyslexia is a language-based learning disability that causes individuals to have difficulty when identifying speech sounds within words and/or learning how letters represent those sounds. Having dyslexia does not mean someone has a lack of intelligence or desire to learn; their brain just learns differently! With the appropriate remediation, individuals with dyslexia can learn to read successfully ✨
At Summit, our dyslexia training was done through the Dyslexia Training Institute, a program accredited by the International Dyslexia Association. Our strategy is Orton-Gillingham-based, individualized for each student, and takes place in a one-on-one setting.

Hi! It’s been awhile since I introduced myself on here, but I’m Kristyna, the face behind Summit Education! I’m passionate about helping students succeed and feel supported throughout their educational journey, and I truly love what I do. Here are a few things about me:
My husband, Tristan, and I both grew up in the Helena area and love serving the community and spending time in our hometown.
I love coffee, breakfast foods, and seeing new places. This is me drinking coffee and having breakfast in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
We have three crazy dogs (two golden retrievers and a now fully-grown Bernese) and two cats.
In September, we welcomed our sweet baby girl, Carolina. We love her so much and are adjusting to becoming a family of three. I’m currently on maternity leave but will be scheduling students in January!
Can’t wait to meet you! ☺️
