Our Story

Discovery Kidzone is a local family-based business that was founded in 2009. We are the preschool of choice in the Helena, Montana area with 3 convenient locations during the school year and 4 in the summer. Our new building will be complete in 2020! Our infant/toddler, preschool and school age programs encourage positive nurturing relationships which we believe are the foundation of healthy growth and development for early childhood. We work hard to promote social, emotional, physical and cognitive development based on the work of Maria Montessori. We create hands on environments that are safe, innovative and encourage academic learning through play and exploration. Our unique philosophy created by our founder uses a combination of Montessori and the project approach inspired by Reggio Emilia, which results in developing the whole child through creativity and cooperation.
