The purpose of the Helena Middle School Parent Teacher Organization is to increase the capacity of parents, teachers and staff to be effective advocates for education at their School and in their community by:

1. Promoting closer relationships between home and school so that parents and teachers may cooperate in the education of our children

2. Providing an open forum on matters of general school concern

4. Rallying broad community support for issues concerning the education and welfare of students

5. Providing volunteers for school events and programs

6. Conducting fundraising activities that support instructional and physical needs of students that go beyond state and local requirements

7. Collaborating with elected officials, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and private sector organizations in furtherance of its purpose

🎟️ Today is the last day to purchase Homecoming Bash tickets online! We were informed about My School Bucks shutting down for maintenance at 9pm, so be sure to purchase your tickets BEFORE 9pm!

📢 Homecoming Bash Info 📢

We are so excited for the Homecoming Bash on Friday! Here’s some helpful info:

📚 Students will put their belongings in their locker before heading to the lunchroom for the bash.

🍕🍫🥤 We will have pizza, chips, chocolate candy, chewy candy, sodas, and water available to purchase. These will be $2 each and will be CASH OR CHECK ONLY.

🎟️🎤 🎼 In order to accommodate all who want to participate in laser tag and karaoke, we will allow students to do these activities by grade level. Anyone that doesn’t want to participate in the extra activities can remain in the lunchroom where the DJ and 360 Degree Photo Setup will be located. Laser tag, Karaoke, and 360 Degree Photo Booth are all included in the ticket price.
3:00-4:00 8th Grade
4:00-5:00 7th Grade
5:00-6:00 6th Grade

📸 We will also have a photo backdrop set up and a photographer to capture singles and group shots, if your child wishes to participate in that. There is no cost to have the pictures taken, but you will receive a link to an online gallery if you would like to purchase any prints. The online gallery link will be sent out sometime in the next 2 weeks following the bash.

🐾💙🩶 Make sure your child dresses in comfy Husky gear, so they can enjoy all the fun! It’s going to be a great bash! And don’t forget to order your ticket! Online sale ends Thursday night. Go Huskies!

✅ 1 week left to order your child’s Homecoming Bash ticket! Sale ends October 1st. ✅

🐾 Please remember that this is a fundraiser. Proceeds from the bash will help fund student/staff incentives and help make improvements around the school. We have tried very hard to provide fun activities that will appeal to everyone at the bash. But, if we do not have adequate participation, we won’t be able to afford to offer additional fun events like this. 🐾

💙 Detailed info will be posted mid next week. We are so excited for this event, and can’t wait for our kids to make some fun memories! 💙
